a group lot of 2 Ae2 roman follis (4th century AD) in nice conditions including : 1) THEODOSIUS I Ae2 Follis (383-388 AD) Obverse : DN THEODOSIVS PF AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right / Reverse : VIRTVS EXERCITI, Emperor standing right, holding labarum and globe, left foot on captive, palm branch upright in left field. Mintmark SMNA. 5,20 gr. Nicomedia mint RIC IX Nicomedia 44b 2) GRATIAN Ae2 bronze follis (378-383 AD) Obverse : D N GRATIA-NVS P F AVG, helmeted, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right holding spear and shield / Reverse : GLORIA ROMANORVM, emperor standing left on prow of galley, holding labarum, Victory seated at the helm, wreath to left, mintmark ANT and officina letter.
