Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2022 - 43° - 70cl The name "Hibiki" is derived from the Japanese word meaning "resonance". Since its launch in 1989, in honor of Suntory's 60th anniversary, the Hibiki brand has embodied the company's philosophy of living in harmony with nature and people. As a pioneer of Japanese whiskey and a house of master blenders, Suntory has sought to explore the different dimensions of harmony in a blend. Each Hibiki expression is considered one of the most coveted blends in the world, as it offers a unique and precise experience of harmony. Achieving the right balance in the blend was a real challenge, due to the strong personality of the Sakura barrel which can easily overpower other flavors. After numerous attempts, the master blenders discovered that grain whiskeys from Sakura barrels were best suited to balance the whole. The result of this Hibiki Blossom Harmony Edition 2022 is a unique and captivating expression, with a seductive floral bouquet followed by a complex depth, typical of Hibiki. We find notes of honey, candied orange peel, jasmine and chocolate, all ending with a surprising finish of spicy, sweet and bitter notes.
