This is an original 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games (XVIII Olympiad) commemorative wall plaque designed by Hatano Masakichi (畑正吉) and produced by Tenshōdō (天賞堂). The plaque features a metal relief of a classical Greek-style figure holding the Olympic torch, along with the Olympic rings and the year “1964.” The piece is mounted on its original wooden backing board, with the manufacturer’s paper label and Tokyo 1964 emblem still attached on the reverse side.
