古罗马戒指,雕刻有赫拉克勒斯,公元1至2世纪 青銅色 戒指 (沒有保留價)
An authentic ancient Roman bronze ring dating from the 1st–2nd century AD, produced during one of the most prosperous periods of the Roman Empire. The piece is cast from solid bronze and now bears a rich dark-brown patina, developed naturally over nearly two millennia — a genuine testament to its age and authenticity.
The bezel features an engraved depiction of Hercules, the divine hero and enduring symbol of strength and courage in Roman mythology. Shown standing in a commanding pose with his right arm raised, Hercules embodies power, protection, and triumph. His image was widely revered among Roman soldiers and citizens alike, often worn as a talisman to invoke bravery and divine favor in battle and daily life.
The engraving, though modest in scale, is finely executed, reflecting the Roman artisan’s mastery in conveying meaning through simplicity and balance. The ring’s restrained yet purposeful design captures both aesthetic elegance and symbolic depth — a hallmark of Roman craftsmanship.
This piece likely served as a personal adornment or signet, once belonging to a Roman soldier or official who identified with the heroic virtues of Hercules.
