This beautiful oval stained glass panel, titled "De Backer", is a reproduction piece depicting a traditional baker's workshop, inspired by the engraving “De Backer” from 1694. The inscription at the bottom is in Dutch and reads, "De Backer. Die't lichaam voed t Gemoedt voor", which roughly translates to "The Baker. Who feeds the body (and) the mind provides".
