This lamp series was inspired by the warm glow of a 1960s tube amplifier that designer Simon Legald noticed while restoring an old radio. Its clean oval shape and gentle radiance pay tribute to the visual character of classic audio equipment. The lamp is carefully proportioned to balance hardness and softness opacity. Legald selected hourglass-grade glass to achieve the elegant curved form, pairing it with a solid marble base to counterbalance the delicacy of the glass. Through this thoughtful combination of materials and inspiration, the lamp presents a distinct character—minimal, tactile, and quietly modern.
