An agate cosmetic holder from the ancient Western Asiatic, Sino-Mongolian culture. Second millennium AD or older. In good condition. It has been cleaned in a tumbler and repolished, soits surface is shiny and smooth, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface. Purchased 1976 in Islamabad/Pakistan by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market. Important information : The seller guarantees that he is entitled to ship this lot.
