■ About the “Ii Sōkan Style”
Ii Sōkan was known for his elegant taste in tea utensils, especially designs inspired by classical flora and fauna.

Ominaeshi (patrinia flowers) — an autumn flower symbolizing grace
Magpie — a bird with auspicious meaning in East Asian culture
This classical combination remains highly appreciated in the tea ceremony today.
