In mid-May 2025, this project started with the encounter between Steven Tyler and Yungblud. At first, the idea was for Aerosmith to participate in the lead single of Yungblud's album "Idols", but when Dom was working on another song "Problems" for his next work, a new version with Aerosmith began production. Furthermore, during the same session, Yungblud wrote "A Thousand Days", which was also recorded, and the project naturally expanded.
