Here for sale is a Romanesque sandstone carving depicting a long haired mustached man with his arms raised and a cross at the base. I am unsure of its age and purpose, but I believe it to date from between the 19th to the early 20th century and that it may have been from a church, but I can't be certain. It's carved from a solid block of sandstone and at some point someone made a custom sandstone base for it. The dimensions are: H: 40 CM, W: 12 CM, D: 11 CM. The carving is in very good condition, though does show signs of its age(please see photos for further information). This is a rare piece and a must have for collectors.
