A charming devotional sculpture retaining traces of its original polychromy in red and cream. The bishop holds a book with visible remnants of script, a rare and highly desirable detail. The figure still shows beautiful medieval expression and craftsmanship. Mounted on a custom wooden base for secure presentation. Condition: Good for its age. Original polychromy preserved, without modern repainting. Natural ageing as expected, including old wormholes, wear and small losses. Stable overall.
