Lou Reed - Four remarkable Reeds, including Metal Machine - 多個標題 - LP - 各種模壓雷射唱片 - 1975

Not many musicians are as rock ‘n roll as Lou Reed. His lifestyle, his music, his records, his concerts, they all ooze r&r. Here on offer are four of his most remarkable records, including the one you do not want to listen to… All albums are in absolute mint condition. Hardly played, two of them first pressings, bought on the week of release. Immediately put in protective sleeves and safely stored, cherished and respected. 1. Take no prisoners. Double live album. Lou states proudly: No overdubs, and a stereo binaural recording. Tracklisting reveals all big hits, it differs from the US and UK versions. This is a Dutch limited first pressing, as proven by the blue and red vinyl. RCA/Inelco, XL 3066, 1978, Netherlands, gatefold. Vinyl mint, sleeve mint. 2. Metal Machine Music. Double album. The most controversial of all Reeds records. Basically just noise. Most buyers returned it. Reed called it "tubular groaning of a galactic refrigerator", But in 1990 it was reissued, again in a very small circulation. This your another version was released on Record Store Day. But this one is the rare find, and one to complete your collection. Not to be listened to… RCA CPL2-1101, 1975/1990 Germany. Vinyl mint, sleeve mint 3. Rock ‘n roll heart. First album on Arista records, after Clive Davis saved him from bankrupty (because of the Metal Machine Music debacle). Includes two Velvet-period songs. First USA pressed Peter Pan pressing. Remarkable photos by Mick Rock Arista, AL 4100, 1976, USA. Vinyl mint, sleeve mint (cutout). Original inner sleeve. 4. Street Hassle. Amazing record. Title song is one of Lou’s best. Haunting and chilling. It has a line, ‘Tramps like us, we were born to pay’ that was used before by Springsteen. Bruce was recording downstairs, and not only gave his permission to use it, but sang it (uncredited) on the track. The album set out as a live record, but Arista wanted a studio album. So the audience was taken off the tapes, and overdubs were made. This is the first commercial record to use binaural recording: two mikes are places in a dummy’s head. Remarkable is listened to through headphones. Arista, AB 4169, 1978, USA, Vinyl mint, sleeve mint, with original inner sleeve As stated, everything about these records is mint. I will add new protective sleeves. They will be preciously packed and swiftly send
