Viking and Medieval Pair of Rings Circa 10th-14th century AD This attractive pair of copper-alloy rings comprises: a slender finger ring fashioned from a rounded rod twisted into a tight cable; and a signet ring with an integral oval bezel engraved in shallow intaglio with a scrolling foliate motif of S-shaped tendrils and small circular punches, the bezel set between broad shoulders that taper evenly into a plain rounded hoop.
