After graduating from Osaka University of Arts Junior College, Department of Design and Fine Arts in 2001, he studied ceramic arts at Sasayama Sugiyama Pottery and served as an assistant instructor at Kobe City Ceramics Classes. In 2004, he established his independent studio in Toyono-cho, Osaka.
