/// "This piece breathes neoclassical calm reminiscent of Ingres, yet the tattoos turn the young woman into a silent statement of contemporary identity. The embroidered dress and melancholic pose belong to the museum, while the tattooed arm feels borrowed from a modern studio. The result is a gentle and elegant parody of how we idealize the past and ink the present directly over it."///

● About the Artist:
Original work by Nando López, a digital artist based in Barcelona. Trained in advertising design, he began his career in agencies and design studios before fully transitioning into fashion illustration, collaborating with internationally recognized brands.
● About the Dikhotomy Project:
For the past four years, Dikhotomy has been an ongoing series of digital collages and illustrations where classical art and contemporary culture collide unapologetically. Fragments of art history blend with pop elements, visual irony, and cultural critique to provoke both reflection and amusement.
Each piece is the result of a creative clash between handcrafted digital editing and AI-powered tools (midjourney and recraft) merging the human and the technological. Influenced by pop art and urban art, Dikhotomy is a deliberate parody of the art world and an invitation to view it from a new perspective.
