:Large - Japanese Imari ware lidded jar or vase, likely from the Meiji period (late 19th century). The decoration typically features an underglaze cobalt blue combined with overglaze iron red and gold, a palette also known as kinrande. The jar is fluted and adorned with panels depicting floral and bird motifs. It has a domed lid topped with a finial, sometimes referred to as a mythical Foo Dog or Kylin finial. Measuring approx 36cm tall x 17cmdia it is in very good undamaged condition
