Ho appena ricevuto, letto e assimilato la tua rassicurante recensione dei tovaglioli e degli strofinacci che ti sei aggiudicata all'asta.
Devo dirti che il contenuto mi ha profondamente commosso e che devi essere una persona davvero gentile, un essere umano eccezionale e soprattutto una madre meravigliosa. Mi ha riportato alla mia giovinezza e ai miei genitori, che mi hanno dato un'educazione così splendida. Ho tanti bei ricordi di loro e sono certa che i tuoi figli siano grati di avere una madre da ammirare e amare.

Devo però confidarti un piccolo segreto. Hai detto di non saper scrivere in francese, ma spero che tu abbia apprezzato appieno ciò che hai scritto con tanta eloquenza nella tua bellissima lingua, l'italiano. Io non sono francese, ma sono nata in Olanda e, per via del mio lavoro, ho vissuto in giro per il mondo, e negli ultimi 30 anni in Francia, e ora mi sento profondamente francese.
