The Compass Box Gift Set is the perfect way to sample five unique spirits bottled by the Compass Box Whisky Co. Each gift set contains one 50ML bottle of five different Compass Box whiskies: Asyla, Oak Cross, Peat Monster, Spice Tree and Hedonsim.
Compass Box Asyla (40% ABV) is crafted from a blend of malt and grain scotch whisky, and has a sweet and delicate flavor... profile that is soft and fruity on the palate.
Compass Box Oak Cross (43% ABV) is crafted exclusively from malt scotch whisky, and is smooth with subtle flavors of vanilla, cloves and dried fruits.
Compass Box Spice Tree (46% ABV) is made from a blend of malt scotch whisky, and has a rich, round flavor profile with notes of vanilla, spices and wood tannins.
Compass Box The Peat Monster (46% ABV) is also crafted from malt scotch whisky, and has a peaty aroma with touches of smoke, iodine and hints of fruit on the palate.
Compass Box Hedonism (43% ABV) is crafted exclusively from grain scotch whisky, and has elegant flavors of vanilla cream, toffee and coconut.
Since its inception in 2000, Compass Box Whisky Company has been stewarded by John Glaser, one of the most progressive and innovative whisky blenders of his generation. "Like a winemaker blending grape varieties, we can create layers of complexity by blending whisky," says Glaser, who was named "Innovator of the Year" four times by Whisky Magazine and was named the "Pioneer of the Year" twice by Malt Advocate. While Glaser initially began his career in the industry as a marketing agent, he quickly realized that by blending quality whiskies, he was able to create a product that was greater than the sum of its rare parts.
