Karlsbad (Bohemian) crystal, renowned for its purity, high lead content and optical quality, offering the transparency and depth of colour characteristic of Moser productions.

Deep amethyst tone, coloured in the mass.

The body is decorated with a wide gilt engraved frieze featuring a neoclassical-inspired motif.

Engraved signature under the base:

“Wholesome / Echtie Karlsbad / Moser / Karlsbad”.

Old German.

Echt = genuine / authentic
Karlsbad = place of production

Karlsbad was one of the major centres of Bohemian crystal.
