Classic Staunton pattern chess set with turned wooden pieces in natural and ebonised finish. Square wooden board with alternating light and dark veneer and coordinate markings along the edges. Designed for regular play and display.

Current condition:
Overall good vintage condition. Surface wear and minor scratches consistent with age and use. One light king shows a visible crack at the base. One dark queen has a small chip at the lower rim. Board edges show light wear.
