Key Features and Style
Style: French Rococo (Louis XV style), characterized by curved shapes and motifs inspired by nature.
Material: Most often chiseled and gilded bronze (bronze doré).
Meaning of the markings
BRONZE: This marking refers to the material of the object, which is bronze. If it says "Bronze" or "Bronze Doré" (gilded bronze), it confirms the quality, cast metal finish.
DEP. MOD. (or MOD. DEP.): This is the most important marking. The French Modèle Déposé means "Registered Model".
This means that the manufacturer has protected the design from copying.
This marking is most often found on pieces made from the late 19th to mid-20th centuries (approximately 1880–1960).
All three are in exceptionally good condition, easy to install, just hang them on a hook and you're done.
We can post it carefully packaged, in an insured, registered package.
