Antique Islamic Ottoman Quran Stand A fine & large antique 19th century Islamic Ottoman Quran stand, carved & inlaid. A wonderful example of Ottoman Damascus work, in good condition. The stand is of large size & carved with Arabesque to the top and finely inlaid to the outside with mother of pearl. The stand is carved with Islamic Arabic script and has pierced carving to both lower sections. The stand is hinged so it can be collapsed flat when not holding a book/manuscript, condition is excellent throughout, no losses or damage. A fine inlaid Quran stand circa 19th century.
