Part of the Diorama Collection, this cabinet takes inspiration from collectible toys, a key element of hypebeast culture. The design translates diorama figures, meticulous compositions of visual elements that recreate specific scenarios, into bold 2D patterns that adorn the furniture. The cabinet features an open all-around design that works as both container and display. Made from a refined mix of lacquered wood (structure), laminated glass (vitrines), and laser-cut aluminium (decorative patterns), it creates a dynamic play of solid and void. The aluminium figures wrap seamlessly around the piece, framing the objects inside and giving the cabinet its distinctive identity. A unique collector’s piece that embodies the design studio’s signature blend of culture, craft, and innovation, distinct in its design language and destined to stand out in any interior! About GROOVIDO GROOVIDO is a design studio that uses a unique visual aesthetic to translate creative challenges into distinctive design pieces. The studio was founded in 2020 by Gianmaria Della Ratta (b. 1993, Italy) and Giorgio Gasco (b. 1992, Italy) after their Master’s in Contextual Design at Design Academy Eindhoven.
