Beautiful almost silver colored tin Mallaca ingot also known as Tampang (and tin Hat money) were a trading currency unique to Malacca. (colored by being under water for a long time) Actual dimensions: Base H 50 x B 65 x B 65 mm, Top 30x30 mm, weigth: 681 gram. The Malacca Sultanate was a Malay sultanate based in the modern-day state of Malacca, Malaysia. Conventional historical thesis marks c. 1400 as the founding year of the sultanate by King of Singapura, Parameswara, also known as Iskandar Shah, although earlier dates for its founding have been proposed.
