It is offered for auction a beautiful Bohemian Czech Art Deco vase 'Small grape harvest' designed by František Pazourek and executed by C. Schlevogt/H. Hoffmann glassworks Gablonz nad Nissou. The vase, made from pressed, cut, frosted and polished alexandrite/neodymium glass has a bulging upper part and an low faceted foot. It is highly decorated with grape vines and nymphs or bacchantes celebrating the wine harvest or just the joy of life in an entangled mesmerizing dance in nude (Lalique inspired). The warm lavender color from daylight that turns into pale blue under fluorescent light is only emphasizing the special beauty of this vase.
