This is a vintage Japanese 5-tier lacquered food box (Jubako) featuring a prominent gold landscape design on the lid. ​The lid displays a detailed scene in gold depicting mountains, pine trees, birds, and a boat, which creates a striking contrast against the dark lacquer background. ​It comes with the original wooden storage box. The wooden box features a family crest (Kamon) of crossed hawk feathers on the front. The underside of the wooden lid has old Japanese ink calligraphy. ​The set consists of 5 stackable tiers.
