The original shape should have had an everted lip and two lugs on the belly for threading a rope; the rim is now damaged, and the lugs are also broken. This vessel dates back to the Neolithic Majiayao culture (10000-1000 BC) and was made in China. Its unglazed base confirms its material and production date. Condition: Good condition, with significant signs of use. Some parts are missing from the rim and foot. No signs of repair. It has been examined with strong UV light.
