Huge Antique Jomud Turkmen 1880. Dyrnak with golls, curly leaf border and beautiful elements on a rich burgundy background. The accent colors are teal, forest green, red, emerald green, indigo blue, coral, sea blue and cream. Deep, shiny, rich, vibrant, in exceptional condition for its age. Made of extremely thin, high quality wool. Age: 1880. Place of origin: Western Turkmenistan Hand-knotted, hand-spun wool pile on a wool base. With natural dyes. Overall excellent condition, the rug has a shiny pile throughout. In its original condition, repaired only at the edge, in some parts. A coveted collector's item, and an excellent utility rug. The rug is Antique, so there may be minor flaws.
