Extremely rare white edition of the iconic Ferrari 250 LM, manufactured by El-Gi in Italy and later sold by Exico, who simply applied their own stickers to the original El-Gi production. The chassis stamps confirm the authentic Italian manufacture. This model is widely regarded as one of the very first true radio-controlled cars ever produced, making it a highly important piece in RC history and a true Holy Grail for collectors. The example offered here is in very beautiful and well-preserved condition for its age. The bodywork, wheels, interior and chassis present very nicely. Only one rear grille is not original, but it blends in well and does not detract from the overall appearance. The white colour version is particularly scarce and sought after, much rarer than the more common red versions often shown in period magazines.
