Αντίγραφο της αρχαίας αιγυπτιακής Άνουβις πάνω σε ταφική άμαξα με τους τέσσερις γιους του Όρους
➜ This is a finely carved limestone fragment depicting a powerful funerary scene from ancient Egyptian theology. The central image shows Anubis, the jackal-headed god of mummification, lying upon a funerary bier. Beneath him stand the Four Sons of Horus—Imsety, Hapy, Duamutef and Qebehsenuef—protector deities responsible for safeguarding the organs of the deceased.
Hieroglyphic inscriptions flank the scene on both sides, adding a ritual and ceremonial frame to the composition. The reverse of the plaque remains in its natural rough stone form, typical of traditional workshop carving.
Crafted from solid stone, this piece has natural texture, light weathering, and a warm desert tone. It is an ideal display item for collectors of Egyptian symbolism and funerary iconography.
➜ Why You’ll Love It:
• Features Anubis in one of his most iconic funerary roles.
• Deep, crisp carvings that stand out beautifully against the natural stone surface.
• Rough back and shaped edges give the piece a strong archaeological character.
• Perfect size for shelves, desks, or museum-style displays.
• A meaningful representation of ancient Egyptian beliefs about protection and the afterlife.
➜ Don’t Miss Out:
Pieces with full funerary scenes like this—showing both Anubis and the Sons of Horus—are highly sought after by collectors. Add this symbolic and beautifully carved plaque to your Egyptian collection before it’s gone.
