Tasting Notes – Distillery Profile (Indicative) Nose: Ripe red berries, plums and cherries, interwoven with gentle peat smoke, sea salt and honey. Palate: Full and harmonious; sweet port influences, dark chocolate, stewed fruit, malt and an elegant layer of smoke. Finish: Medium to long, warm and lightly dry, with lingering fruitiness, soft spices and subtle ash. Tasting Notes – Independent Review Nose: Clearly wine-driven, though not immediately identifiable as port. Lots of blackberries, autumn leaves and hints of raspberry jam. Mild peat smoke in the background, along with leather and touches of lacquered meat. Notes of milk chocolate and black tea as well. Occasional flashes of brighter fruit, less pronounced than in the 19 Year Old. Palate: Still grapey, now with more charred wood and brown sugar sweetness.
