This rare fossil antler fragment comes from Megaloceros, the legendary giant deer of the Pleistocene, recovered from the Dnieper River region in Ukraine. One of the largest deer species ever to exist, Megaloceros is renowned for its enormous antlers, which once reached extraordinary spans and dominated the Ice Age landscapes of Eastern Europe.
The specimen is well preserved and carefully prepared, revealing the natural structure, texture, and mineralized surface of the ancient bone. Its sculptural form highlights the impressive anatomy of this iconic prehistoric animal, offering both scientific interest and strong visual presence.
