No reserve price! Small celadon tripod censer with crackled glaze- Longquan, China On offer is a fine celadon glazed Chinese stoneware censer. This guan ware censer is probably produced in the Longquan kilns. It has a fine crackled glaze and a subtile point decoration on the body. The censer stands on three short legs (tripod), with the compressed bulbous body rising to a short waist with gently everted rim. The censer is covered with a beautiful light celadon glaze (caused by low content of iron oxide), except for the underside, which partly shows the stoneware body. An attractive small censer! Provenance: From a private collection in China. Size: The censer measures ca. 10 cm across and ca. 5,5 cm in height. Condition: Excellent! As found condition. Slight wear only.
