They also play a significant role in captivity and are considered one of the most commonly bred wild doves. Diamond Doves do not have any special conservation status, as they are frequently kept in captivity. These adorable doves was faithfully preserved after it's natural death and weights only 25 grams while being 14cm tall and long and 7cm wide. The specimen has no pest infestation, comes from a smoke-free home and has been treated with insecticides.
