Inside the case there are numerous alphabetical and numerical marks, as well as an inscription at the bottom, though it is difficult to read. Cleaning is required. Dimensions: height 44 cm, width 39 cm. Excellent, hardened weapon-grade steel, which has resisted a musket shot. Weight of this cuirass part: 5 kg. Dark blue jacket with red facings, embroidered collar marked “31”, scarlet epaulettes. All buttons of the jacket bear the maker’s marks on the reverse. Jacket size: 46–48. Shows small holes, tears in the fabric, and traces of old repairs. Includes military decorations, among them the Legion of Honour and the 1870 Medal of Bravery.
