Jaldar Exclusive or Pakistani Bukhara type hand-knotted oriental rug.
Features
Origin: These rugs are typically knotted in Pakistan or Iran, based on the traditional Sarooq and Yamoud patterns of the Turkmen region.
Material: Made of high-quality, hand-knotted wool, often with silk highlights, which gives them a silky sheen and soft surface. They are knotted on a cotton base.
Pattern: Jaldar rugs have distinctive, repeating, more angular diamond-shaped motifs (also known as guls or "elephant foot" patterns), which distinguish them from Bukhara rugs with their rounder guls.
Colors: The most common background color is red or reddish brown, with black, blue, beige and white details.
Quality: Due to their dense knotting and robust structure, they are durable and resistant to wear and tear.
Jaldar rugs are popular and timeless pieces that can be incorporated into both traditional and modern homes.
The carpet has a maker's mark, unfortunately I can't recognize it.
It has recently been cleaned, is completely renovated, smells good and is in extremely good condition.
We can post it carefully packaged, in an insured, registered package.
