Original Singer hand-crank sewing machine, manufactured in the early 20th century. This example is operated by hand crank (no electric motor), making it especially attractive to collectors and suitable for display or light use. The machine features original black japanned finish with gold and red decorative decals. The decoration shows honest age-related wear, consistent with its age, and has not been restored or over-cleaned. All visible parts appear original. The serial number F5850581 is clearly present, dating the machine to approximately 1914. The machine is mechanically complete; the underside mechanism is intact and visible (see photos). Included is the original wooden bentwood carrying case, with original hardware and natural patina. The case shows signs of use and age, but is structurally sound. Also included are various original accessories, such as bobbins, needles and thread spools, stored in the accessory compartment. The wooden carrying case is present; the original key is no longer available. This is a genuine, unaltered antique Singer sewing machine, ideal for collectors, enthusiasts, or decorative interior use.
