Original published Daily Express pocket cartoon artwork by Osbert Lancaster, dated 9 June 1978 (9.vi.78). Ink and pencil on paper, framed. The cartoon was published in the Daily Express (page 2, lower right pocket cartoon placement). The work references “Top of the Pops” and sailing around the world, a topical satire linked to the period. Faint editorial pencil notes are visible on the reverse/through the paper, consistent with newspaper production and filing marks. Good overall condition with minor age-related wear; frame in good condition with small nail hole to reverse top and unused green hanging string taped on the back.
