Keith Haring (1958–1990) was an American pop and street artist known for his bold, energetic line drawings and iconic figures such as radiant babies, barking dogs, and dancing silhouettes. Emerging from the New York subway art scene in the 1980s, Haring used simple shapes and bright colors to convey powerful messages about love, equality, social justice, and the fight against AIDS. His work remains instantly recognizable and influential worldwide.
