This Korean celadon vase was produced during the Joseon period, inspired by the elegant forms of earlier Goryeo ceramics. The vessel features a classic pear-shaped body with a slender neck, covered in a soft green celadon glaze with natural crackle. Inlaid crane motifs are subtly incorporated into the surface using the traditional sanggam inlay technique, where designs are carved and filled before glazing. The crane symbolizes longevity and harmony in East Asian culture. Although made in the Joseon era, the form and decorative style clearly reflect the influence of the celebrated Goryeo celadon tradition, admired for its refinement and quiet beauty. NOTICE
