A limited Càirdeas release from Laphroaig created for Fèis Ìle 2022 and the Friends of Laphroaig programme, this Warehouse 1 edition was bottled at 52.2% ABV and matured entirely in first fill Maker’s Mark bourbon barrels. The whisky was aged in the distillery’s historic seafront Warehouse 1, where coastal conditions play a key role in shaping the spirit. The bourbon barrel maturation enhances Laphroaig’s signature medicinal peat smoke, maritime salinity and iodine-rich character, while adding layers of vanilla sweetness, caramelised sugar and gentle spice.
