Vintage Emco Unimat SL (DB 200) Precision Desktop Lathe — Fully Serviced — Made in Austria
Up for auction is a legendary Emco Unimat SL (model DB 200) multi-purpose desktop lathe. Manufactured in Austria by Maier & Co., these machines are world-renowned for their Swiss-army-knife versatility, precision, and robust engineering.
This specific unit is a perfect find for watchmakers, jewelers, or scale model engineers who value mechanical integrity over cosmetic perfection.
Maintenance & Condition:
Deep Cleaned: The lathe has been completely disassembled and cleaned in an ultrasonic machine to remove decades of old grease and metal particles.
Serviced: All parts have been professionally relubricated and adjusted for smooth operation.
Drive System: Fitted with brand new drive belts, ensuring quiet and reliable power transmission.
Mechanical State: Despite the visible paint loss and authentic vintage patina, the machine is in excellent working condition. All slides and the spindle move freely and accurately.
