Rare Vintage GUB Glashütte Spezimatic (automatic) "BISON" (26 Rubis) - Golf Plated case. Period: about 1970's. Diameter: about 42mm lug-to-lug, 36mm width (without crown). Functional! Keeps time very well. Original quality and clean German automatic movement - signed GUB 74. Based on the movement serial number (734), this watch was manufactured in the 4th quarter of 1973. Original gold-toned dial with vertical texture already has signs of age but gives the watch authenticity and a nice retro look. The watch brand and "Bison" model on the dial are still clearly legible. Original Gold-plated "Cushion" case and stainless steel back already shows signs of time commensurate with its age, but still in honest and acceptable vintage condition. Note: Service history is unknown and as this is a vintage timepiece, accuracy cannot be guaranteed long-term. However, at the time of sale, the watch is in good working order and keeps time very well. Selling as a collector's item, "as is."
