Artistic & Literary Analysis:

This exceptional 30 cm bowl features a dense "all-over" calligraphic decor. Unlike mass-produced items, this piece is a sophisticated work of art, paying tribute to two giants of Classical Arabic literature:

Antara Ibn Shaddad (Pre-Islamic Era): The bowl displays famous verses from his Mu'allaqa (The Hanging Odes), celebrating bravery and honor:

"And if I am oppressed, my oppression is valiant / Bitter in taste, like the flavor of the colocynth (Al-Alqam)."

Al-Mutanabbi (Abbasid Era): It features one of his most iconic verses regarding the power of his poetry:
"Even the blind have seen my literature / And my words have reached the ears of the deaf."

Symbolic Detail: The word "Al-Khayl" الخيل (The Horse) is calligraphed as a central motif, acting as a link between the knight-poet Antara and Al-Mutanabbi’s famous connection to the desert and its steeds. The horse is one of the most powerful and multifaceted symbols. It transcends its role as a mere animal, serving as a profound metaphor for the Bedouin's ideal life :
Chivalry, Heroism, and Valor,Pride and Aristocratic Status, Speed, Power, and Grace, Loyalty and Companionship, The Symbiotic Ideal (Self-Expression), Fertility and Life.

The middle of the bowl lines are from the famous Mu'allaqah of Antarah ibn Shaddad, addressing his beloved Abla :

(ibnat Malik). He tells her that if she is ignorant of his bravery, she should ask the horses and warriors who witness his constant, fearless fighting on a powerful stallion, alternating between direct spear combat and charging against heavily armored troops.

This exceptional 30 cm bowl features a dense "all-over" calligraphic decor. Unlike mass-produced items, this piece is a sophisticated work of art, paying tribute to two giants of Classical Arabic literature.

The bol will be well packed and insured for any damage during delivery.
