/// "A scene that moves between the sacred and the absurdly mundane, where the delicate gesture of a Renaissance figure is pierced by a strand of melting cheese that disrupts any illusion of historical purity with almost insolent ease. The tension between the elegance of the portrait and the banality of the food creates a magnetic contrast, as if art history had decided to surrender to an unexpected craving. Here desire is not a sin, it is the main character."///

● About the Artist:
Original work by Nando López, a digital artist based in Barcelona. Trained in advertising design, he began his career in agencies and design studios before fully transitioning into fashion illustration, collaborating with internationally recognized brands.

● About the Dikhotomy Project:
For the past four years, Dikhotomy has been an ongoing series of digital collages and illustrations where classical art and contemporary culture collide unapologetically. Fragments of art history blend with pop elements, visual irony, and cultural critique to provoke both reflection and amusement.

Each piece is the result of a creative clash between handcrafted digital editing and AI-powered tools (midjourney and recraft) merging the human and the technological. Influenced by pop art and urban art, Dikhotomy is a deliberate parody of the art world and an invitation to view it from a new perspective.

— Confirmed solo exhibition at Gamla Kraftstationen Gallery (Sweden), 1 May – 28 September 2025.
