Original Color Etching by Samy Briss

Ένα όμορφο πρωτότυπο έγχρωμο χαράκτημα από τον καταγεγραμμένο καλλιτέχνη Samy Briss, presented in a warm golden tonality and signed in pencil by the artist. This impression is numbered 8/12, indicating a very small limited edition.

The composition depicts a stylized white bird resting beneath a luminous circular form, possibly interpreted as a moon or celestial body. The scene is rendered in Briss’s characteristic poetic and symbolic visual language, where forms are simplified and transformed into quiet, dreamlike presences.

The bird, reduced to a pure, curved shape, appears almost weightless, floating in a golden atmosphere. Above it, the circular form radiates softly through layered tonal textures, creating a composition that feels meditative and timeless. The limited color palette — dominated by warm gold and soft ivory tones — gives the work a refined and almost sacred visual presence.

Samy Briss is known for his symbolic compositions inspired by mythology, memory, dreams and ancient cultures. His works often feature simplified figures, animals, celestial symbols and architectural forms arranged in calm, balanced compositions that evoke a sense of silence and contemplation.

The etching technique is clearly visible in the textured surface, tonal transitions and delicate engraved lines, demonstrating the artist’s mastery of printmaking.

Dimensions:
• Sheet size: 22 × 27 cm
• Framed size: 28 × 34 cm

The work is signed in pencil by the artist and numbered 8/12, and also bears the artist’s stamp in the lower left corner. It is presented in a complementary frame that enhances the warm tonal qualities of the artwork.
