These ceremonial lamps are often used in Obon festivals, where people celebrate their loved ones. A type and shape of lamp which is typical for the rich and diverse Japanese design and cultural heritage, which would be perfect for decorating a Japanese or Buddhist inspired environment. Hard to translate into pictures, this lamp emits a very nice glow. The floral paintings are clearly visible and spreads a lot of charm.
