Magnificent antique Meissen porcelain cabinet plate, marvelous hand painted, gold trimmed, icon model of the great designer Ernst August Leuteritz (1818 - 1893) for Meissen Porzellan Manufaktur, in excellent condition. The plate feature a central large polychrome flowers motif, within a shaped and moulded gilded rim, set with three further sets of flowers and gilt rocaille cartouches, on a white ground. Flowers painting on porcelain has a long tradition at the Meissen manufactory that has grown continually throughout the ages and continues on to this day. It’s well known that flowers motifs are more rare and valuable. It’s a must have for all the collectors. It is in excellent condition, First Choice, some loses of gold, rubbed gilding, marked with Meissen blue crossed swords mark of the period, NO grinding lines, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
