In this lot: A large good quality lower jaw, anterior Megalodon tooth from the South East of the United States. This tooth is authentic, unrestored and 100% in the form it was found in. Teeth from this area have generally a more rough and rugged appearance due to the sediment and conditions they are found in. This tooth has survived those conditions remarkably well. The tooth measures 13,7 cm and has a very nice silver and greenish shine on the crown. It has a great bourlette and sturdy root. The serrations on both sides are very well visible Which is not very common in "river teeth." This fossil would be a nice addition to any collection.
