Ιαπωνικός ξύλινος δίσκος σε σχήμα ψαριού, αναμνηστικό τεμάχιο από το προσκύνημα στον Μεγάλο Ναό Ίσε - Ξύλο, λακαρισμένη επιφάνεια - Ιαπωνία - Shōwa period (1926-1989)
A pre-war Japanese fish-shaped wooden tray, dated April 15, 1935 (Shōwa 10), created as a commemorative souvenir for a pilgrimage to Ise Grand Shrine.
This decorative tray is carved in the form of a fish and finished with a deep reddish-brown lacquered surface. The front features an elegant composition combining a stylized fish motif with a traditional Japanese landscape, including a torii gate and distant scenery rendered in gold-colored decoration.
The reverse bears a clear inscription:
「伊勢参拝記念 昭和十年四月十五日」
(Commemorating a pilgrimage to Ise, dated April 15, 1935)
Such items were typically produced as commemorative objects for visitors to important religious sites, making this a charming example of pre-war Japanese folk craft and pilgrimage culture.

Condition:
Good condition with age-related wear.
There are surface scratches, rubbing, minor scuffs, and small marks consistent with age and use.
